Job14:14 If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.
Anytime I remember the story of Abraham, I marvel at the kind of faith he had. The time God spoke to him about being the father of nations, nothing around him looked like the fulfilment of that promise, yet he waited patiently in faith and he got it later on. What about Noah? He waited for 120yrs for the fulfilment of what God said about destroying the world.
Noah preached about what God told him for 120years until the day of fulfilment came. One thing these bible characters have in common was UNWAVERING FAITH, little wonder why they were named as heroes of faith in Heb11. The best way to wait on God is to wait in faith so that you don't wait in vain. I understand the pain of waiting and the agony it brings. Your waiting period should draw you closer to God.
I know what it is to see someone else with your kind of desired answers. Your waiting time is not your wasting time. The best way to wait and get result after several years of waiting is to wait with the word of God in your mouth and heart. Your waiting time is the time to know who your true friends are. Those times when you had no major issue in your life, people were all around you but in time of crisis, they fled.
There is an appointed season of waiting for everyone in life, wait properly.
In my waiting time, I shall not waste In Jesus name. Amen.
