Psalms25:4 Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.
The prayer of David is a new testament kind of prayer though it was written in the old testament but it is a spirit-led or spirit-inspired type of prayer. It is akin to the cry of apostle Paul when he said 'that I may know him'. The ways of God are different from his acts.
What thrills some of us is the act of God. The acts of God are those miracles and supernatural manifestations that we see but his ways are the secrets behind the acts. Mere men seek for the acts of God but men of depth seek to know his ways. The ways of God are the principles behind the acts.
Like David, I want you to make it a point of prayer henceforth that God should show you his ways. What will make you a Christian with depth is when you know the ways of God. Let your cry be 'Lord, show me thy ways and teach me thy paths.
Father, show me thy ways and teach me thy path In Jesus name
