Psalms11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
A Pastor that I know met a graduate of Banking and Finance digging gutters and soak away pits. This pastor began to pray and the Holy Spirit told him what the problem was. He told the young man to send for his mother. When the mother came to this pastor, the Pastor told her to go and return the money she was owing someone on behalf of that child when the child was schooling. I guess that must have been school fees.
Immediately, she paid the money to the children of that person she owed because the person is late. Not long after, that young man got a bank job. The two things a righteous man can do to repair a faulty foundation is to RESTITUTE and PRAY. Nothing else can repair it faster. There is power in restitution if one is led to do it. Restitution has a way of solving blasts from the past while prayer launches into a new beginning.
When the foundation upon which the several facets of our lives (marriage, ministry, career, business, etc) is faulty, we may run into problems later. When you enter marriage wrongly, you run into crisis later. In my little experience in the counselling room, I've seen children suffer greatly for the wrong marital foundations of their parents. The problems many are facing is traceable to the faulty foundation laid early in life.
Think about the several areas of your life that is not working, if you need to restitute or pray, please do.
Father, repair my faulty foundations In Jesus name. Amen
