Psalms4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still.
When the bible is talking about heart,in most cases, it isn't talking about the blood pumping organ but rather the very core of our existence- the spirit.
When you gave your life to Christ, the part of you that was regenerated is your spirit man. Your body and soul is still thesame.
Your mind, will&emotions is contained in your soul and the scriptural recommendation for our mind is constant renewal with God's word. At new birth, the Spirit of God has come to dwell permanently in our spirit. All that we'll need for life has been deposited into our spirit man. All you need do is to dig out what has been deposited within.
David is saying to us today that we should commune with our heart(spirit). When you are confused in life and you don't know the way to go, the answer is right there in your spirit-man. Reach within and look for it, you'll find it there. One vital way to reach into your spirit man is to always pray in tongues.
When you pray in tongues, you are realeasing the treasures of salvation locked within.
