A GOODLY HERITAGE FOR ME

July 23, 2015 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Psalms16:6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

God is our father and his plans for us are very good. The wealth of the wealthiest man in the world can't go round for us all if he is to share it equally. Even if he does, what he'll share may not meet our needs. Now, God has enough to go round with a lot still remaining. The goal of God is not to give you the heritage of 'things' but he wants to give you himself.

The goodly heritage we have as sons of God isn't cars, houses, money&estate properties. Our goodly heritage is spiritual and goes beyond what carnal minds can fathom. When the big God that created the universe comes to live in a man's heart in his fullness, what can be more than that? The God that lives in you enough and more than enough. Glory!!!

Living with the hope of eternity is enough to make you burst into praises. Stop chasing what is transient, let your pursuit be eternal. Men of old took God as their heritage and earthly things didn't matter to them. That was why Moses forsook the royalties of Egypt just to please the father. God told Abraham that he is his reward. That's a goodly heritage enough for any man.

Father, I receive grace to esteem you in my life as all that I need In Jesus name. Amen
