Psalms16:11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
When you visit rural areas, there are paths in most villages that leads to particular destinations. Urban dwellers may not understand pathways and how they look like. In most cases, they are always narrow without traffic, most times it is a lonely road but it leads somewhere especially the stream or a place that serves a major purpose for the villagers.
There is a path of life for everyone. Before you came to this world, there is a path that leads to the place where you'll find fulfilment and joy. Many are walking on popular path but not on their own path. Salvation is the path of life but the path of purpose in God is another path of life. I believe David knew God already but he desired a life of fulfilment in God so he said God would show him the path of life.
You cannot really enjoy the kingdom life to the fullest until you find your purpose and fulfil it. God won't reward you for doing another man's work, he would reward you for doing what he has designed you to do which is purpose. Until you find a purpose for living, your life won't have a meaning.
Father, show me the path of life In Jesus name. Amen.
