INTEGRITY TEST

July 04, 2015 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Job2:9 Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.

The story of Job is not new to most of us. During his ordeal, the only person that could have been of help turned her back against him and placed a demand on his integrity. His friends didn't help matters too because they felt his sins caused his ordeal but in the previous chapter,we know that God introduced job as a perfect man.

His wife told him to curse God and die and he should loose his integrity. That same devilish advice comes to us all during our time of trial. The only thing working for you maybe your integrity, please do not loose it because of life's problems. When you compromise your faith because you want to come out of a trying period, your integrity is eroded.

If you have to lie about your age because you need a job or fornicate because you want to retain that brother because you think he would leave you for another lady, you have failed the integrity test. Every of life's challenge is a privilege to keep your integrity or loose it. Loosing your integrity is akin to cursing God.

Integrity is the mother of dignity, keep it.

Action point

Father, I receive grace to keep my integrity during time of trials in Jesus name. Amen
