Psalms51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
When you want to eat coconut, merely looking at it won't get you your desire. Personally, I love to drink coconut water but l can't get the value of that coconut not until it is broken. Also, imagine a bottle of perfume that has no spray button, the only way to use that perfume is to break the bottle and use the content within. That's just a description of the process we have to go through before God can truly use us.
Brokenness is the condition of being subdued and humbled before the Lord. It is a state of complete and total yieldedness unto God's will. It is a point where you don't say no nor ask questions about divine instructions. It is a state of having a yes for instructions yet to be received. Some of us are too proud for God to use us, we are stubborn and self-willed.
I see that most believers desire God to use them but in my little walk with God, God won't use any man beyond his level of brokenness. There is a treasure in you and that treasure can't be unleashed until you are broken. You carry a very strong anointing, message, revelations and witty kingdom ideas that the world is yet to see but we won't get the benefit of those things until you are broken.
It is better to submit peacefully unto God and allow him to break and make you into what his desires are for your life.
Father, break me and make in Jesus name. Amen
