Psalms16:8 I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
In most African cultures, the right hand is used for noble things. You don't wash your bum with your right hand, also you don't collect an item or gift from an elder with your left hand. Africans don't eat with the left hand. The right hand is the hand of power and dignity. When the right hand is used figuratively in speeches and writings, it is symbolic of importance.
When David said that he has set the Lord at his right hand, he was saying that God has occupied the most important seat in his life. He is the most dignified personality and he is all that matters to him. David won't treat the things of God with levity because without him, he is done for.
It is only men that esteem God that will be esteemed by men and demons. Nothing can move the man that has made God the first thing in his life, your passion for God must be hot and sizzling. The wonderful and unimaginable miracles of God are for those that love God. Even demons will tremble when they see a child of God that has placed God at his right hand.
The largesse of heavens is for the right people that have placed God at their right hand.
Father, I receive grace to esteem you highly In Jesus name.
