ROMANS 9:16 FACTOR

January 03, 2016 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Romans9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

At the beginning of every year, hopes are always high and plans are always big. The energy to pursue is fresh and a lot of people have resolved to be better than they were last year. The feeling of entering a new year may linger till February or March and after then, reality starts dawning.

No matter how big your plans are for the year, no matter how S.M.A.R.T your goals are, no matter how well you have resolved to add more energy to your pursuit and think outside the box, if the Romans9:16 factor- God's Mercy is not available for you, you'll be messed-up. By now you should know that It is not all hardworkers that succeed in life.

It is good to 'will' and to 'run' but it is better for God to show mercy. The mercy of God will give you what you don't deserve and make you stand above only. When you minus God's mercy out of your life's equation, you will have it rough. Applying success principles are good and I'm not encouraging laziness but it is better for mercy to spice-up your effort.

Action point

Father, show me your mercy all through this year In Jesus name.
