When companies want to recruit for a position, they spell out the required qualifications that must be met by whosoever is desiring to apply for the vacancy. Even before getting into institutions of higher learning, certain requirements must be met or else, you forfeit the admission.
In the early church, there was a distribution scheme that caused a little misunderstanding. The apostles decided to select men that would be at the vanguard of distribution but the requirements were clearly spelt out: full of the Spirit and wisdom. The same also applies today.
You cannot perform maximally in God's assignment if you are not full of the Spirit and wisdom. Even if you are a sweeper or an usher in church, your work must have a spiritual impact in the lives of men but that cannot be achieved without the fullness of the Spirit and wisdom in your life. There is no trivial task in the kingdom; your wisdom and strength cannot achieve the God-kind of result, you need the fullness of his Spirit and his wisdom.
Father, I receive a fresh infilling of the Spirit and wisdom in Jesus name.
