I remember praying to God that from my loins great men and women shall come forth and not just mere men or rascals. The bedrock of the answer to that prayer is real hard work in godly training and exemplary living. Many think all there is to good parenting is just to send children to good schools but there are educated rascals, thieves, prostitutes and murderers. Jonathan Edward is a man that we can emulate, a disciplinarian and loving father.

We all have a choice to make in this matter. What kind of legacy do you want to leave for your children? There is a dearth of good parenting even from the pulpit to the pew. Juvenile delinquency is on the rise without a proactive action. Some parents these days are not modeling to their kids what they want them to be. Before you start working on training your child(ren), have you become for them a model that they can imitate?
Jonathan Edward was a model to his children, he taught them and they followed.
Father, I receive grace to become a positive model to my children and my descendants shall be great In Jesus name.
