Isaiah6:1 It was in the year King Uzziah died that I saw the Lord. He was sitting on a lofty throne, and the train of his robe filled the Temple...(
Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me.” NLT
When you read the book of Prophet Isaiah from chapter 1 to 5, you will notice that he prophesied and gave several messages to the people. In Chapter 6, he had a life-changing encounter with God's holiness where he saw himself as unclean, God asked a question 'Whom shall I send'? Why would God ask such a question in the presence of a man that has been prophesying and doing ministry?
Do you know it is possible to be in ministry, preaching and teaching, yet not in the right location and with the wrong people? God needed to send a man to a specific people with a specific message and he announced a vacancy for that position. Isaiah would have missed the ultimate purpose of God for his life if not for that encounter. You and I need a life-transforming encounter with God.
The plan and purpose of God for your life has specific details you must know. I don't want to be in ministry and God would still be looking for whom to send when I'm available. God is looking for whom to send to places of eternal relevance and not monetary gains. When God comes calling next time, be ready to say 'Here I am. Send me'.
Father, I receive grace to obey and answer the call of purpose for my life In Jesus Name.
Happy Independence day Nigeria!
