CONTRARY PLANS- WRONG ALLIANCES

October 02, 2016 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Isaiah30:1 “What sorrow awaits my rebellious children,” says the LORD.“You make plans that are contrary to mine.

You make alliances not directed by my Spirit, thus piling up your sins. NLT

God is a God of plans, purpose and pursuit, the day you gave your life to Christ and made him the Lord of your life,

You relinquished the Lordship of your life to Christ. He is interested in your marriage, career, business, ministry, etc.

He want your plans and alliances to be as a result of direction from him.

Do you know that God is not happy when you make plans that aren't in tandem with God's plan for your life? Yes, Christ- the Lord of your life want to call the shot every time. One thing that I've found to be very important in my Christian walk over the years is being in the perfect will of God for my life. When our plans are running contrary to God's plan, the end of it could be disastrous.

There are many things I can do and would love to do but as I walk with God, I discover they aren't in God's plan for my life. There are believers that have died untimely as a result of walking in their own plans and walking out of God's will for their lives. Much sorrow awaits those walking in their own plans and alliances.

Action point

Father, I receive the grace to walk in total alignment with your perfect will for my life In Jesus Name. Amen
