Jer1:6 “O Sovereign LORD,” I said, “I can’t speak for you! I’m too young!”
7 The LORD replied, “Don’t say, ‘I’m too young,’ for you must go wherever I send you and say whatever I tell you. NLT
Those that haven't been called by God to perform specific task for Him may not understand how Jeremiah felt when God called him into ministry. I have had the privilege to handle certain kingdom assignments with some people in time past of which I was the youngest and the leader even presently I lead alongside other leaders that are old enough to father me. I know what it feels like when everyone sees you as the small boy and can tell you your history.
Jeremiah felt that way, he told God 'I'm too young'. For that assignment God has given you, stop giving excuses. You are not too young neither are you ill-equipped, you're just the right man for the Job. God doesn't look at certain things that men look at when He calls us into purpose. Our antecedents is not a criteria for our calling into God's purpose not even our background.
Every man of destiny had one excuse to give but they obeyed God and made history. Quit giving excuses to God on why you can't and start relying on Christ through whom you can do all things. Our sufficiency is of Him not of us. When your focus is on your strength and not on God's strength, you will not fulfill God's purpose for your life. Now the time is ripe to start what God laid in your heart, stop giving excuses.
Father, I receive the grace to stop giving excuses In Jesus name. Amen
