Every product has an operating manual, when you buy an electronic gadget, one of the things that comes with it is an instructional manual on how to operate it. You are God's product and there is a manual for living that has been written long ago for you to follow. The generation of those that lived in the bible are examples for us so that we won't make the mistakes they made.
The value of God's word cannot be underestimated; the reason for the myriads of challenges we are facing in the world today is because we have neglected the place of following the instructions and teachings in God's word. Someone said that the meaning of bible is 'Basic Instruction Before Leaving Earth'.
The scripture above said those that contradict the word are in the dark. You must make it a daily practice to study God's word and engage the Spirit of God in your study. Attend a church where you'll be taught God's word, stay under the ministry of teachers. Every opportunity you have to understand the word of God better, seize it.
