Heb6:18 So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. NLT
When you study God's word, there are two things that are unchangeable and they are: God's promises and his oath. I believe that the oath was a backing for the promise. When God promised Abram to make him the father of many nations, it didn't look like a promise that would come to pass in the natural because everything around Abram didn't give such hope.
Later on in the scriptures, we discovered every nation came through father Abraham even till date. God's promise is his word and to validate his word, he made an oath. In Psalms138:2, He confirmed to us that he has magnified his word(promise) than his name. We can bank on God's word as unchaneable.
I want to dare you today to have in faith in God's word absolutely. The word of God is God himself and he cannot deny his word. Anchor your family, business, career and ministry on God's word. When every other thing fail, God's word cannot fail. Our confidence doesn't lie in the promises of men but rather on what God has promised in his word.
Father, Iet your good promises come to pass in my life In Jesus name. Amen
