I heard the story of an old Evangelist that God called into ministry in his prime but procrastinated for a very long time. He gave God all the excuses to delay his obedience to God's call, when he became an old man, he came to Nigeria to stage a crusade at his old age. Something he would have done in his prime, while preaching, he was coughing periodically. Time was not on his side anymore.
I want to challenge you today to act on whatever God has told you and stop waiting for the so called perfect time. We sometimes tend to procrastinate in a spiritual way on somethings we know God is telling us to do, we'll say things like 'we're waiting for God's timing'. When you receive a message from God to do something, please act. Even when it is not expressly a divine mandate, if it is worth doing, please do it.
If you have a desire to further your education, buy a property, start a business, the perfect timing for such won't come. Those that always postpone doing good things into the future end up paying a double for the price they would have paid initially. Gaining admission into school, buying a land or starting a business was quite easier 15years ago than now, when will you act?
Time is very precious, it waits for no man. Very soon, you'll be old and a young boy would call you 'grand pa' or 'grand ma', pay the price today and play later.
Father, I refuse to waste my time In Jesus name. I bind the Spirit of procrastination in my life In Jesus name. Amen
