Severally, I have heard about 'yahoo' boys that killed themselves in auto crash because they were drunk while driving, some were over joyous because they swindled someone. It also happens that sometimes, fraudsters lavish their monies on women and mundane things without acquiring assets. That's just a little picture of what happens in the life of most ungodly people.
The scripture made it clear that the earnings of the godly would enhance their lives; so many believers haven't applied wisdom in their finances. No matter how godly you are, if you don't have good plans for your money, your earnings won't make your life better. Years ago, I learnt some financial principles that has helped till date.
I learnt that investing my money is better than saving it in the bank. It is good to have savings but it is better to invest your money so that it becomes multiplied. It is better to acquire assets than put money on liabilities. Whatever brings money to you is an asset and whatever takes money from you is a liability. The godly should plan to build or buy his own property instead of renting. Owning is better owing, that's how to enhance your life.
Read books and get some financial wisdom. Learn from the rich and grow your wealth in a godly way.
