In the book of 2Kings chapter 4, a widow whose late husband was a prophet came to meet Elisha about the debt of her late husband. The creditors had come for their money so she was troubled, the Prophet of God instructed her to get empty jars as much as she could get and drop a little oil in the containers. As soon as she obeyed, the jars were filled with oil and she sold them to raise money to pay for her husband's debt. That's a miracle.
To prosper in life, you need to obey God's instruction. I don't believe that recession is strong enough to make an obedient child of God suffer because at every point in time in the bible where there was famine or scarcity of money, the people of God prospered by obeying God's instruction. Your obedience to God's instruction is tied to your prosperity not prayers.
If you can seek God's face on what to do to breakthrough, you shall prosper. There is a secret in God's mind yet to be revealed about your prosperity in life, some are in the wrong location, doing the wrong business and associating with the wrong people. If God can speak to you about your life and if you're also willing to obey him on the matter, you shall prosper.
Father, open my eyes and ears to receive the instruction needed for me to prosper In Jesus name. Amen
