ORDERING THE CHILD

May 06, 2015 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Judges13:12 And Manoah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him?

Reading through the bible, we discovered that some parents received from God the life's purpose of some of their children. Amongst them was Manoah the father of Samson. He asked the angel of the Lord about how to order the child, that is he wanted to know the specifics on the upbringing of that child&he got it. True parents in the kingdom seek to know the purpose for the birth of every child in their care.

God has given us children so that we can help nurture them into what he has planned for their lives not what we desire for them. Every child from our loins&womb must come for a purpose and not because of amorous propensity. A child of God shouldn't give birth to join the numbers but should give birth because he/she is ready to nurture someone into destiny.

Real parenting involves receiving from God the blue-print or helping a child to receive the blue-print of God for his/her life unhindered. That is why I don't advocate people that are yet to discover their purpose to enter into marriage. Purposeless couples can't help a child to discover and pursue his/her purpose. God didn't answer the prayer of Hannah not until she tied her request for a son to a kingdom purpose.

Manaoh is a father that is worth emulating. Every child cannot be raised the same way, pay the price to know God's intent for that child.

Action point
