Rom14:15 But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.
There was a contention about the eating of meat in the early church and Paul had to settle the matter. Those days, idol worshippers sacrifice meats unto the idols and some people eat the meats sacrificed unto idols. That became an issue amongst believers because when a young believer sees an old timer eat meat sacrificed unto idols, his faith becomes wounded.
Paul didn't support the idea of eating meat sacrificed unto idols but some people were beginning to take the matter far and were even raising question of conscience. As a believer, there are things you truly have the liberty to do which in itself may not be sinful but may weaken the faith of a young believer.
Paul said all things are lawful for me but not all things are expedient. If the exercising of your liberty will make others stumble, show some restraint. I know that people could be very religious and dogmatic especially in Semitic&African nations, if you cannot adapt a little to their culture or certain custom, you may not be able to win them unto Christ.
If you go preach in a community where eating of pork is outlawed, don't start a pork party there, you may not win a soul. You need wisdom.
Father, may my liberty not crush another person's faith In Jesus name. Amen
