1Tim1: 9 For the law was not intended for people who do what is right. It is for people who are lawless and rebellious, who are ungodly and sinful, who consider nothing sacred and defile what is holy, who kill their father or mother or commit other murders. NLT
Most bible scholars agree on the teachings of dispensations. In all of the bible, there are seven major dispensations that talks about how God dealt with man and would be dealing with man in the future. Presently, we are in the dispensation of grace. God is dispensing grace to men in the now (Eph3:2).
When the time of grace is over, there would be a great tribulation on earth. Before the grace dispensation, we had the dispensation of the law. The Mosaic law was not intended for us because we are under a different umbrella. God's dealing with the children of Israel under the law was for the purpose of putting orderliness amongst them but still they couldn't abide.
God had to send Christ to right what was wrong with the law and with him came grace (Heb8:7). Grace is what God is dispensing presently just like a pharmacist would dispense drugs from the dispensary. The power of grace is greater than the force of the law and both of them don't mix. You cannot try to live by the old dispensation of law and mix it with grace, it won't work.
The law exposes our weaknesses but grace empowers us to overcome our weaknesses ( Titus2:11-12).
CONFESSION: I receive from God's dispensary, his grace for a walk that is pleasing unto him In Jesus name. Amen
