Sometimes, I know people concentrate on the divinity of Jesus while on earth and they forget his humanity. He is God yet he came as a man and he was called 'the Man Jesus'. That attest to the fact that he was 100% man when he was walking the dusty streets of Israel. He experienced everything that is common to human being.
Was Jesus tempted to lie, fornicate, steal and do all sort? YES, he was but was without sin. How did Jesus know that looking at a woman lustfully was sinful? He must have been tempted to know that because our opening text says he was tempted in ALL point&but remained stainless that was why he became our high priest.
We need to learn how to submit our walk with God at the feet of Jesus, he has experienced it all. He knows the key to living a life of victory over sin and he can always deliver the keys to anyone who acknowledges him and submits to him. We were enjoined to look unto him because he is the author and finisher of our faith. Do not look at your do's and don'ts neither should you look at any man but Christ alone.
Because he experienced it all, he has solution to all temptations.
