Judges16:20 And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. AND HE WIST NOT THAT THE LORD WAS DEPARTED FROM HIM.
When I was young church boy, there was a brother who was very vibrant. Whenever I remember the exploits that brother did for God, it dwarfs my little kingdom exploit as a young man. He was so anointed and well versed in the scriptures but he fell into the hands of a sister in choir and that was how he nose-dived spiritually. He ended-up smoking heavily and he became addicted to alcohol not just beer but gin.
Samson was a man of many exploit for the kingdom but he fell into the hands of Delilah and his hair was shaven, he thought he could manifest in power like other times but the Lord had departed from him. Nothing can be so disgraceful and messy as when a man that has been used by God to fall into the hands of his enemies in a powerless state. Samson was anointed but he lacks discipline with the opposite sex.
When God is using you for certain exploits in his vineyard, there are three major things that you must run away from: Money,Women& Pride. These three are the traps set by the devil for the anointed. Most of the time, carelessness and indiscipline makes a man fall subtly until the anointing departs. I know what it is when you can't hear God like before and the anointing departs, it makes you prone to the enemy's attack.
We have a very promising future in God and we cannot allow indiscipline to rob us of our glorious future like Samson. Be disciplined and stay disciplined.
Father, I receive grace to be disciplined In Jesus Name. Amen.
