Kenneth E. Hagin of blessed memory met a man that had chronic ulcer. He was feeding on baby food because his stomach couldn't retain solid food. God revealed to him that the man had two problems. The ulcer was demonic & he was battling his conscience over the issue of tithing. The man couldn't get healed completely not until he made-up his mind on the issue of paying his tithe.
There is a simple but profound lesson that we can learn in the chapter of our opening text, whatever belongs to God or that is meant to be for God which you haven't released unto him becomes an accursed thing in your hands and also you become accursed. You can avoid coming under a curse when you obey simple instructions. If you're a christian and you specialise in extorting people or collecting bribes, that is one of the accursed things you must avoid.
The tithe you don't pay is an accursed thing in your hands and won't translate into a blessing not until you release it for God. I have decided to obey God blindly on that matter. As long as you still try to philosophise on some issues, the devil will wipe you. Why bother so much about who spends your tithe&what it is spent for?Just obey&see the blessings.
Whoever mismanages God's money will face the wrath of God. Obey God&avoid the accursed thing.
Father, I receive grace to obey you blindly. I refuse to be under your curse In Jesus name. Amen.
