THE POWER OF SPOKEN WORD
EVOM films produced a film titled, "Word Recorder". In that movie, there was a Christian brother that suffered greatly. He had several set backs and life was unbearable because of suffering. He went to the Lord in prayers to know why his life was in a mess and the way out. It was revealed to him that there was a principality behind his ordeal. That demon recorded all the negative words spoken against him from birth and those words were used against him. The devil tormented him because those words gave him the legal ground to attack this Christian brother. This brother was prayerful but he used his negative utterances to repudiate his prayers.
It would surprise you that one of the several reasons why demonic attack persist is because some people are speaking negatively. Their words does not align with the word and thought of God for their lives. I have seen how words can make or mar. Do not play with spoken word. Jesus didn't mince word when he said we shall account for every idle word spoken(Matthew12:36). There are forces that pick our words so that they can use them against us. Ten out of the twelve spies brought a negative report but only two spoke differently. They latter entered the promised land while others perished.
If after praying you say something that is contrary to the content of your prayer, you have repudiated your prayers. Speaking the word of God may not yield result immediately but it would produce life and joy in the long run. Stop cursing yourself and do not curse others. Your words are legal grounds on which God or the devil need to act on. Your life will go in the direction of your words. What do you say about yourself?
