There was a prophet who had a unique healing anointing. His ministry blosomed in Nigeria during the 1930 revival. He was the leading figure of the popular Oke Bola revival in Ibadan. From 24th Sept - 4th October, 1930, about 5,538 people attended his programmes even from faraway Ghana. God used him to raise a dead woman with seven months pregnancy that died four days earlier. In his ministry, about 26 dead persons came back to life. When constrained with mobility, he would disappear to his desired destination.
The notable miracles that happened in Oke Bola revival were: 202 Long time pregnancy delivered, 7 lame persons walked, 3 cases of epilepsy were cured, 9 cases of dumbness were healed, 9 insane persons were healed, 15 hunch backs disappeared, 24 blind persons saw, 19 veneral diseases were healed, 22 cases of Tuberculosis were healed. That's just to mention a few. All his exploits in ministry lasted for approximately 7 months. He was invited to Warri in Southern Nigeria for a crusade. The church leaders warned him to turn down the invitation but he arrogantly honoured the invitation.
That was what led to his death. He got burnt with fire in Warri. On his death bed, he confessed that he was arrogant, proud and insurbodinate to authority. He died at the age of 31. There's a danger that comes with being anointed without being submissive to authority. God has structured the kingdom in such a way that he doesn't place anointing and exploits above spiritual authority. It is highly possible to be more anointed and popular than your spiritual leaders but you cannot outgrow being submissive to them. The worst happens when the anointed doesn't have a spiritual authority figure in his life. That's a ticking time bomb. No matter your endowment and exploit, stay submissive to spiritual authority.
