DECIDE TO FIND YOUR PURPOSE
If you set a table filled with delicacies and you put a shovel as part of the cutleries, what do you think people would say? If you start using your car to pack sand and stones to construction site, how do you think people would judge you? Some may say you're insane while others may recommend you for a psychiatric check up immediately. The reason is because you abused the purposes of those items. That's the kind of life so many have lived in the past years. They have grossly abused their lives. They are on the wrong pare in life.
God created everyone to fulfil a particular purpose on earth. Doing something else aside it is an abuse. God in his infinite wisdom shaped you, moulded you and gifted you to fulfill that purpose for which he created you. Your nationality, your tribe, your family and gender are all because of the purpose for which God created you. God didn't play dice with your life. There is a script that was written about you long before the world began. Written in that script is your life's purpose, the specifics and the personnel involved. You are meant to discover it by the Spirit. God won't reward us for doing just anything but he would reward us based on what he has called us to do. And that's purpose.
When Jesus came, he said, " Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God."(Heb 10:7). Even Jesus knew that some things were written about him before he came. When they wanted to make him an earthly king, he rejected the offer because it was not written in the book. Paul discovered his purpose as an apostle to the Gentiles so he didn't labour on Peter's field whose calling was to the Jews. The day you discover your purpose for existence is the day your start living and the day you start fulfilling your purpose is the day you'll start experiencing fulfillment. Our parents want us to live a good life that is why they tell us to study a particular course and attend certain schools but God want us to live a purposeful life. What you are called to become maybe different from what you are trained to do except the training is in line with your calling. Find your purpose.
Father, open my eyes to see why I was created by God.
