FAILURE TO TAKE YOUR PLACE IN REDEMPTION
I have seen believers who are under a persistent attack of the enemy. When you meet such people, they may tell you about their night mares today, if you meet them the next day, another story would come up. They may tell you how masquerade was chasing them in the dream. In fact, some have given up on God because they claimed to have prayed and fasted yet there's no solution. If you meet such people, they are quick to exalt demons than God. Going further, some have become regular at deliverance meetings. Today, there are phony deliverance ministers that take advantage of such people.
If you are in this category, you need to know that your condition is not the will of God for your life. God is not behind that demonic oppression because his thoughts towards you are good and not of evil(Jer 29:11). You need to realize that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross took care of that. Jesus didn't die to save you alone but his death on the cross is a total package which includes deliverance. Jesus disarmed powers and authorities on the cross and he put them to shame(Col2:14-15)). The Bible never said the devil won't attack us but we have a promisory note of victory. Hallelujah!!!
If you don't want that demonic oppression to persist, the first step you must take is to know your place in redemption and take authority over those dirty powers troubling your life. When dealing with the devil, you must come from the standpoint of your redemptive right and privileges. Redemption has placed you on a pedestal of authority that the devil cannot argue with. You are seated with Christ in heavenly places. You operate from above not from beneath. All you need to do is to use the name of Jesus to stop the onslaught of the enemy in your life.
Father, I stop the onslaught of the devil(...mention the case) in Jesus name.
