In the book of Genesis, it was written that Lot slept with his daughters when he got drunk. Although, his daughters got him drunk and seduced him till he had sex with them. They got pregnant and gave birth. It is a taboo for such to happen anywhere in the world but it happened to Lot- the righteous man. He was a righteous man because the scripture above confirmed it to be so but why did he mess-up?
When you read the opening scripture, we were told that Lot's soul became corrupt with what he saw( uncontrolled sighting) and what he heard(uncontrolled hearing). He must have seen immorality being practiced amongst the Sodomites and he must have heard some dirty things. The opportunity came for him when he got drunk and he let-out the immorality that he has conceived in his mind.
One may say that he committed incest because he was drunk but I believe that drunk people do what has been inside lying potentially only needing a push or courage. Alcohol gives such demonic courage that's what the English people call dutch courage. It is an alcohol induced courage.
The two most important gates in your life are the eye and ear gates. You must watch what passes through them. If you don't, you may become a casualty what belongs to you that you didn't control.
