HOW OUR FREEDOM WAS PURCHASED

March 24, 2015 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Eph1:7 He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. NLT

We were once lawful prisoners and captives under the rulership of the devil and his cohorts. We committed sins we couldn't pay for and our father, Adam&Eve committed treason by selling out to the devil. They have the legal right to do so but they didn't have the moral right to sell out to the devil. The devil became the god of this world and even up till now, he's in-charge. 2Cor4:3-4.

Christ knew we couldn't help ourselves and God needed a man that will correct the faux pas that Adam&Eve committed. Christ laid down his life by shedding his blood for the whole world, he paid the price for our freedom with his blood and now we are free. We have received a transfer from the kingdom of darkness into God's glorious kingdom of light. Glory!

In God's kingdom where you are, it is a misnomer for you to be sick, barren, poor, bound by the enemy and tossed to and fro by the storms of life. Power has changed hands and Christ is now in-charge.Halleluyah! In fact, Christ fought for our freedom and we are victors. When the challenges of life comes, we are to enforce the victory of the Cross.

Action point

CONFESSION: I am free from the shackles of the enemy and nothing can stop me in life. The grace and glory of God is all over me and I am a shinning star. Halleluyah!
