ACCESS GRANTED

March 26, 2015 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Eph3:12 Because of Christ and our faith in him, we can now come boldly and confidently into God's presence. NLT

After the fall of man, access to God took a new turn. Under the old priesthood, only the priests and prophets had access to God. The temple had three major divisions: the outer court, holy place and holy of holies. It is only the high priest that enters the holies of holies once in a year with very great precaution. In fact, a chain is tied around his waist which extends to the outer court so that if he dies, they can draw him out.

To hear God in the OT,you'll need the prophet or the priest to help out with that, they made use of the Urim and Thumim to know the mind of God. When I see believers consult with prophets on what's on God's mind for their lives, I see a people that are grossly ignorant and wrongly taught. In some circles, they've been made to believe that the voice of God is an exclusive of the prophet.

In this dispensation of grace, you don't need a go-between. The blood of Christ has granted us access into that very presence of God where his Shekinah glory dwells. Glory! Now you can call on your father anywhere, anyday&anytime with the expectation of receiving an answer from him.
