I read some books on prayer that revolutionalized my prayer life years back. One of such books is 'Why revival tarries' and ' Seven great prayer warriors'. You can't read those books and more without catching the mantle of prayer. I discovered that the secret of great men in the kingdom was their prayer life.
The vibrancy of your prayer life determines a lot in your walk with God. Do you want to be great in God? If yes, you must be great with God in the place of prayer. Prayer is a means by which you can stay in touch with your father constantly. You are as great as your prayer life and nothing more. To be much for God, you have to be much with him.

Ourselves to prayer. Prayer on its own is a ministry(Acts6:4). Whenever I read about the saints of old and how they connected with the raw power of God, I feel I'm still not there yet. A man called John Fletcher prayed and the presence of God filled him such that he had ballooned. He said 'Lord, take thy hands off your servant because thy servant can burst'.
Oh! How we need this kind of devotion. Do we talk about Apostle Ayo Babalola that emptied evil forest with hot prayers? Make it a desire to have a great prayer life.
