Acts20:24 But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus—the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. NLT
Whenever I read about that kingdom icon called Paul the Apostle, I get motivated to move on in my calling until I reach the zenith. Apostle Paul has become a reference used by most preachers today because he used his life to do the 'one thing' God has committed into his hands.
Paul knew what his purpose on earth was and he deployed himself into fulfilling it. Even when he was told by prophet Agabus that he would be bound in Jerusalem, he took that as a challenge to press further in his divine calling. He knew that his purpose was what dying for. A man said 'if you haven't discovered what you can die for, you are not fit to live'.
If I may ask you, what can you die for? When you listen to the music of today, you'll hear some of the composers say they want to die for a girl. If worldly people are ready to die for a mere mortal like them, how much more the work committed into our hands by our master? The beauty and real essence of your life
cannot emerge until you count your life to be worth nothing in comparison with the fulfilment of your purpose in life.
Father, help me to use my life for that which is worthwhile In Jesus name.
