Acts9:6-And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him,..." NLT
When Paul encountered Jesus on his way to Damascus,he knew that he had met someone greater than him. He sensed that he had gotten to his wits end and someone must intervene in the matter of his life. He was in a confused state without knowing where to go then he asked ' What wilt thou have me to do'?
Most times, as humans, we don't ask questions early enough from God that is why we don't get clear answers. Some wait till they meet with a brick wall before they ask questions from God. I tell people that it is best to start enquiring from God about life's issues on time even before we get to the point when they're needed. Although, that doesn't mean God won't answer us when we ask on emergency, but it is good to train and prepare yourself in the waiting room over time.
At this point in your life, you need to ask the Pauline question 'Lord, what wilt thou have me do'? You and I need to ask questions that will give direction to our path in life. Before you start that business, embark on ministry, marry, change your job and whatever we may want to do, ask the Pauline question: 'What wilt thou have me to do'?
Father, what wilt thou have me do?
