In the development of every child , the mother is a vital figure within the family that aids the socialization of every child as some sociologists opined. There is a strong emotional link between mother and child that transcends what scientists and psychologists can explain. I believe God made it that way for a purpose.
A king in the bible did wickedly because he took to his mother's evil counsel. In Africa, mothers have a way of making their children obey them. Some may hold their breast and say 'except you didn't suck this breast, if you don't listen to me, I will curse you'. As funny as that may sound, some have used that threat to manipulate their children into doing the wrong things.
As a mother or would-be mother, God has given you a great influence on your seeds and he wants you to channel it in the right direction. Raising godly seeds needs the input of a God-made mother even as the father is playing his role actively. You have to be a spirit-filled mother so that you can give wise counsel because children confide in mothers more than fathers.
