HOW TO MAKE YOUR LIFE COUNT Pt.1

June 08, 2015 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

2Cor5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

Sometimes, some preachers motivate us on how to live a life that counts. They give us a set of guidelines but most times, they leave out the most important factor. I'm not against motivational speaking but whatever doesn't put the focus on Christ, can't make our lives count. If you like dream big and cast a world-wide vision, as long as your life isn't counting for Christ, all is zero.

To make your life count, you must be living for someone and something. The one you should be living for is CHRIST and him alone. Some are living for their families, some for fame&wealth. So many want to make a name for themselves, they live and wake-up with the dream that is not CHRIST.

The very first step in living a life that counts is to live for CHRIST. The scripture made it clear that he died for all and those that live should live for the one that died and rose for them- Christ. Your ultimate and all-consuming vision and passion should be Christ. Every other vision would make sense only when it is Christ-driven and motivated.

You have only one life to live, live it for Christ, that is the first step in making your life count. Paul said, 'For me to live is Christ'.

Action point

Father, I live for Christ alone and no one else In Jesus name. Amen
