1Sam2:9 He will keep the feet of his saints, and the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
The story of David&Goliath comes to mind. Goliath had strength and skill, he had experience in warfare matters and he dared the people of God for several days. The confidence he had was in his strength but when David came on the scene, the story changed. David confronted him in the name of the God of Israel and his reliance on God's strength made all the difference.
Life is warfare and not fun fare. Men of strength are failing. The strength of some people is in their oratory skills, ability to network and multi-task. When they ask some people what their strength is, they will give you a strong list of what they can do to add value. Those things are worthless when the almighty isn't involved.
Some have monetary strength while others have academic strength. Whatever type of strength you may have, they are bound to fail. When you key into the supernatural, God's strength becomes the driving force in your life and you shall prevail. David wasn't a trained soldier but God's strength was at work in him and he prevailed.
Travailing in prayer is one of the surest way to prevail in life because prayer releases God's strength to work in us and through us.
Father, I shall prevail by your strength In Jesus Name. Amen.
