Eph4:27 Neither give place to the devil
A man had four rooms in his house and he invited to come stay with him, he gave Jesus a room to sleep with the hope that his presence would ward off evil. At night, the devil came disturbing him but there was peace in Jesus' room. The next day, he gave Jesus two rooms, yet the devil disturbed the rooms that wasn't occupied by Jesus.
He later gave Jesus the whole house and that was how peace came. Christians allow the devil into their lives through:
1- Incomplete surrender to Christ( like we see in the story above.
2- Disobedience
3-Ignorance.
If our surrender isn't total, the devil will look for the available opening. Disobedience is another key factor that aids the devil in dealing with us. The extent of our obedience to God determines to an extent how the devil will also obey us when we issue a command In Jesus name. We also need not be ignorant about our place in redemption which gives us an edge over the devil.
Do not allow the devil one more day in your life, you can always kick him out and be victorious
Father, I receive grace not to allow the devil in my life Jesus name. Amen
