James4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you
I have heard people pray that God should help them deal with the devil. I believe that every statement made in prayers must be in total conformity with the word of God. There is no where in the bible where we were told to call on God to help in dealing with the devil. Christ won the victory for us on the cross and dealt with the devil totally. Glory!
When the devil is trespassing, all you need to do is to enforce victory over him in the name of Jesus. Don't beg the devil, the bible said you should resist him and he will flee. The devil cannot stand the power in the name of Jesus from the mouth of a praying believer. The prayer of the righteous is effective in its workings, it is not a type of prayer that begs the devil.
The ball is in your court now, Christ has done all he should for you as regards the issue of devil. Just resist him over your health, finances, marriage, career and ministry, he will flee. He is a defeated foe. I hate when believers glorify the devil by magnifying their issues above God. Some worship the devil indirectly and they give him so much attention in prayers.
The devil would only operate in your life to the extent that you allow him. Resist the devil, he will flee from you.
Dear father, I command the devil to flee in my life In Jesus name. Amen
