Rev22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
The book of revelations is a book that scares some believers, they don't like to read it because they feel what is written there is scary. Some pastors don't even like preaching from that book because to some, it is complex. It is a book that has generated lots of controversies amongst bible scholars.
Though we all may not agree on our understanding of that book but we sure do agree that the book reveals heaven to us more than any other book of the bible. If heaven is your focus, the book should excite you. In heaven, there shall be no need to use candle, rechargeable lantern or generator, God himself shall be the light of that place. It is all bright over there.
Eternity with God should be our ultimate focus. A song writer said ' oh happy place, when shall I be my God with thee, to see thy face'.
Father, I want to see your face and live with you forever, count me worthy In Jesus name. Amen
