I have been under so many teachers that taught on marriage and how to choose a life partner and I've read so many books on marriage that I can't count anymore. One thing I know for sure is that the word of God never fails and when one's life is built on God's word, success is inevitable. In the choice of a woman to marry, the scripture makes it clear that only the LORD can give a prudent wife.
Singles seminars are good but nothing can still be compared to knowing God's perfect will for marriage. The generation of our fathers in the faith that didn't attend singles seminar nor read plenty books got it right in marriage and they're still married till date while our generation has the highest rate of divorce even with all the information at our disposal. Getting it right doesn't answer to man's calculations. Sometimes, people use denominational, educational or ethnic sentiments in their choice leaving God out of the equation. That's where error comes.
Dear singles, take your time with God on the matter of marriage, don't let anyone put you under pressure or becloud your sense of Judgement with sentiment. Seek the Lord, he knows what is good for you, that's why you must have a close relationship with the Holy Spirit. He knows God's mind on every matter including marriage.
Father, I shall not miss it in marriage and my children won't miss it in Jesus name. Amen
