Job14:5 You have decided the length of our lives. You know how many months we will live, and we are not given a minute longer. NLT
I was teaching about pathway into eternity sometimes ago and I remember telling my listeners that death or rapture is the surest pathway into eternity. I stressed a bit on death and I told them that God has decided everything about us before coming into this world. God knows the day you and I will die, the number of years that we'll spend and the the exact month, day and hour that we'll breath our last.
That's the reason why he is the God that knows all things. It behooves on you and I to do the following with our lives whilst still on earth:
(1) Serve God, love God and obey him
(2)Find your purpose and fulfil it
(3)Use your gifts and talents to serve humanity and make the world better than you met it.
Before the day God will come for you and me, it is good we empty ourselves for him and for humanity. We are strangers here on earth, we can be likened to soldiers sent to another country for peace-keeping mission. Very soon, we shall be redeployed back to our homeland for rest when the time is ripe.
Father, I shall use my time here on earth for your glory In Jesus name.
