FINISHED AT THE QUARRY

August 22, 2016 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

1Kings6:7 The stones used in the construction of the Temple were finished at the quarry, so there was no sound of hammer, ax, or any other iron tool at the building site. NLT

A quarry is a place where broken rocks are processed into the desired shape. The temple of Solomon was magnificient; the stones that were used in the building of the temple were finished at the quarry so all they needed to do was just to fix them in the right places without hammer or ax.

God has a quarry where he processes men. He want to use you but not in this present condition that you are. God doesn't want you to enter into purpose with 'noise'. A stubborn man or woman would cause so much noise to be heard because hardly can you hide the works of the flesh. God want to sharpen your rough edges before launching you into destiny.

There are dimensions of the anointing and Spirit we may not be able to operate in until we submit ourselves to be processed in God's quarry. At the quarry, when stones are broken and sharpened, the experience is not always pleasant but it adds value to the stone. When God is dealing with certain things in your life, the process is not always pleasant but values are added at the end.

Action point

Father, I submit myself to you, take me to your quarry and process me for your use In Jesus name.
