The Jews that were taken to Babylon as slaves had lost touch with the law of their God. There was a generation that knew nothing or just a little about the law. Some do not have a grasp of the indepth of the law and how to go about it so when

I was discussing with a fellow minister sometimes ago about the need for more teachers in the body of Christ. We discovered that a lot of believers need to be taught the scriptures line upon line, precept upon precept. As Pastors, please teach your members and take time to do it. Let your bible study meetings have depth and your pulpit on sunday should be used to explain deep secrets.
If you want to grow, stay under anointed teachers. Do not be a Christian that want to hear something sensational or a message that will stir your emotions. Being under anointed teachers would impart your spirit-man directly and make your root grow deeper. In preaching we proclaim( very good for unbelievers) but in teaching we explain- that's how a believer can grow.
If you're looking for a church to attend, prayerfully look for where you'll be taught.
