1Thes1:10 And they speak of how you are looking forward to the coming of God’s Son from heaven—Jesus, whom God raised from the dead. He is the one who has rescued us from the terrors of the coming judgment. NLT
I was teaching in sunday school recently, I asked some of my students if they would want the rapture to take place before their wedding. Someone said that she wouldn't mind, another person said if she has the opportunity, she'll organize the wedding a day to rapture.
The main thing I see about most of us is that we are not looking forward to the coming of Christ. Some want his coming delayed so that they can achieve their goals; one of the pathways to eternity is rapture. Christ can come at any time, it is not a bible fiction as some may be thinking.
The message of his coming must be fresh in our hearts daily even if we don't hear it from our churches often. If you are a pastor reading this devotional, remind your members about the coming Jesus Christ and tell them to be ready. This message is worth hearing on daily basis as we look forward to his coming.
Father I receive grace to prepare for your coming In Jesus name. Amen
