Proverbs21:3 The LORD is more pleased when we do what is right and just
than when we offer him sacrifices.
I watched a Mount Zion film titled 'Enemy of My Soul'. There was a young man in that movie that went to a Pastor to pay tithe. He told him that God instructed him to give his tithe to the pastor. The pastor was happy that God sent someone to help his ministry. As he began to pray for the young man, the Holy Spirit told him to reject the money. He did.
That young man was amazed that such an amount could be rejected. He ended up giving the money to another charismatic pastor who prayed for him fervently. After the prayers and sowing of seed, he went for his robbery operation. Have you ever asked yourself what pleases the Lord? Do you think the seeds you sow in church or prompt payment of your tithe are the things that please God? If that is what you've been thinking all along, then you are wrong.
God loves when we please him by doing what is right not in the sacrifices we offer unto him. There is a hymnal song that says 'is thy heart right with God'? You don't go on a sinning spree from monday to saturday and dance to the offering box on sunday thinking that would erase your wrongs. Please him by doing the right thing.
Father, I receive grace to do what pleases you In Jesus name. Amen
