Some believers don't know their right and privileges in Christ. Some beg God to help them chase the devil or help them conquer the devil. That's error! The devil has been dealt with on the cross and he is a defeated foe, Col2:13-15. Glory! The bible devil that I know doesn't have power over believers except the one we give to him through consent, disobedience and ignorance.
The scriptures didn't say the devil won't try us or throw his fiery dart at us but we were implored to resist him. We are to advance against him and push back the hordes of hell from our lives by resisting them in the name of Jesus. You need to know that you have the right to use the name of Jesus as a believer as long as you're born again.
The baseline of winning the war against the devil starts with having an in-depth understanding about who you in Christ and how redemption has placed you way far above the devil. Until you begin to operate with this mentality, you cannot resist the devil. Your authority against the devil lies in the name of Jesus. Kick him out of your life today In Jesus name.
