CHOOSING THE RIGHT PATH

July 29, 2016 · Lanre Oyeleke · 2 views

Proverbs16:25 There is a path before each person that seems right,

but it ends in death. NLT

When I was growing up as a church boy, I knew a fire brand Evangelist. When it was time for him to marry, the Lord warned him through someone sensitive to the Spirit of God that he shouldn't marry that lady. He said he would pray off the danger that lies ahead. He married the lady but as I'm speaking to you now, he's dead and he died in regret. The wife maltreated him till death.

Our human nature is very deceptive especially when faced with making choices in life. In our heart, we plan it through and through not knowing what lies ahead. People choose a career without asking God if it is right for them, people enter into marriage without asking God if that's the right spouse for them but when they enter, they start whinning and complaining.

That decision you're about to make may land you in destruction. Always ask God sincere questions. David was a unique king because he loves to enquire from God on what to do per time. The devil's trap is always colourful on the outside but within is regret and destruction.

Action point

I receive grace to choose the right path In Jesus Name. Amen
